I am a Mumbai-based visual designer and contemporary artist, and a graduate from the National Institute of Design, India. Immersed in a multidisciplinary learning environment, my design practice spans graphic design, animation, illustration, filmmaking, sound design, and storytelling.

My art practice has been fostered growing up in an artistic family where since a young age I was exposed to traditional and contemporary art in my own household, where I learned by watching my mother work in the studio.

My work investigates the body as a vessel for pre-linguistic emotion, exploring how physical gestures can convey narratives more viscerally than words. I am fascinated by the stories our bodies tell when we aren't speaking. My process translates the immediacy of gesture sketching into three-dimensional form. I choose clay for its freedom and structure; its response to folding, bending, and creasing mirrors the body's own capacity to hold experience. In balancing the weight and finding the form, the act of sculpting becomes an impartation of spirit, an animation of the inanimate.
